Design Reimagined,
From First Frame.
Four chapters of a single design-ops system.
Most teams stitch together a token manager, a component library, a review tool, and a brand DAM. DRFF treats them as one continuous pipeline — from the Figma frame where a designer makes a change, to the pull request where it lands in code. Below, the four pillars in order.
-
01
Token Sync
The bidirectional bridge between Figma variables and your GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket repositories. Define once, propagate everywhere — 3.2M tokens synced in 2024 alone.
-
02
Component Pipeline
A versioned, importable registry of your Figma components. Auto-generated docs, change logs, and framework-native code snippets ship with every published variant.
-
03
Review Cycles
Asynchronous review with structured approvals, stakeholder routing, and audit trails. Replace Slack threads and Figma comment graveyards with a single source of design truth.
-
04
Brand Vault
A governed asset library for logos, photography, motion, and copy. Permissions, expirations, and usage analytics — so the brand stays the brand after the design system ships.
Documented like figures, not screenshots.
The only native, bidirectional token bridge to your codebase.
Token Sync is not a Figma plugin that exports JSON. It maintains a live, version-controlled relationship between your Figma variables and the design-token files in your repos. A designer adjusts color.surface.raised in Figma; a pull request opens in GitHub within seconds, with the diff scoped to a single file, reviewed by the platform team, and merged behind a feature flag. No copy-paste, no spreadsheet, no Slack message asking "is this the latest."
For teams already using Style Dictionary, Specify, or Theo, DRFF reads and writes to the same source files — no migration, no parallel system. For teams that aren't, the platform ships with sensible defaults and a CLI for one-line adoption. The result, measured across 14,200+ projects in 2024: an average 58% reduction in design-to-dev handoff time, and a 4.3× customer-reported ROI within six months, verified in a 2024 Forrester Total Economic Impact study.
"DRFF is the only design-ops platform I've seen that takes the engineering side as seriously as the design side. Most tools stop at the Figma file. This one ships to the repo, and it ships cleanly."
